Against the dramatic setting that is the Lake District, the Theatre by the Lake is surely Britain’s most scenic. The landscape is matched by the quality of the performances, which will be complemented by backstage tours and pre-theatre talks on the processes involved from page to stage. In 2012 optional walks will be available on two days.
