Walkers on the Tramuntana Trail

 

Day 1: arrival day.

Day 2: Valldemossa to Deià - Our starting point is the pretty village of Valldemossa, situated in a valley of deep mountain slopes on the western part of the Tramuntana mountain range.

Day 3: Deià to Hotel Porto Sóller - We will take the coach today to Deià, a picturesque old town which spills down a hillside surrounded by farming terraces created 1,000 years ago by the Moors. We follow the Archduke’s Path and the island’s north coast to Sóller and walk back to the hotel.

Day 4: Porto Sóller to Embassament de Cúber - We start the day with a scenic hour stroll in Sóller and on to the tiny old stone village of Biniaraix, passing orchards and farmland. Afterwards we ascend the Pilgrims Steps to the Col de L’Ofre and enjoy magnificent views, before continuing to Cuber Reservoir.

 

Lluc MonasteryDay 5: free day with opportunities to visit Palma, or relax by the pool or beach.

Day 6: Embassment de Cúber to Lluc monastery - Today we spend a full day in the wild and wonderful Serra de Tramuntana mountains and walk through magnificent mountain scenery to the Col d’es Prat and the beautiful monastery at Lluc.

Day 7: Lluc Monastery to Pollença - Our final day starts with a short climb up from Lluc to the Coll Pelat from where we will have a great view of the monastery complex and surrounding mountains. Then it’s downhill all the way through the foothills and farms to historic Pollença.

Day 8: departure day.

Transport to and from the route is provided each day.
