By train to Mantova

Travel by Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord. Transfer to Paris Gare de Bercy. Then take the overnight sleeper train to either Milan or Venice. From Milan, it is a 2hr journey by train to Mantova, or from Venice, a 2½ - 3hr train journey.

Mantova is situated on the A22 highway Brennero – Modena, only 50km south of Verona and is well connected by frequent trains to Verona  (journey 45 mins). Venice is situated on the A4 highway and on one of the principal railway lines which links Venice to the more promient Italian cities. The journey Venice-Mantova or vice versa takes approximately 2½ hours by train.
