By car

By train

Skipton station is served by half-hourly trains from Leeds. There are also less-frequent trains from Lancaster and Carlisle. For train times and ticket prices see: www.nationalrail.co.uk.

By taxi

The 7 mile journey from Skipton station to Newfield Hall can be made by taxi. Taxis cost £14 per journey - less if shared. We will send you a taxi booking form prior to your holiday.

By air

The nearest airports are at Leeds/Bradford and Manchester. If you arriving at London Heathrow or London Gatwick it is possible, if you have a morning arrival, to reach Newfield Hall in a day. See www.nationalrail.co.uk for details of train connections.

If you are travelling Leeds/Bradford Airport you should take one of the half-hourly buses to Leeds station. From here there are regular trains to Skipton then a taxi to Newfield Hall. Journey time around 1½ hours

Manchester Airport has its own station with direct trains to Leeds. Change here for the connecting train to Skipton, and then a taxi to Newfield Hall. Journey time around 2½ hours.

If you are arriving at London Heathrow take the Underground to King’s Cross station, then a mainline train to Leeds. Change here for the connecting train to Skipton, and then a taxi to Newfield Hall. Journey time around 4½ hours.

From Gatwick Airport take a Thameslink train to King’s Cross St Pancras station in central London. From here it is a 5 minute walk to London King’s Cross station. Take a train to Leeds – change here for a connecting train to Skipton, then a taxi to Newfield Hall. Journey time around 4¾ hours.
