From £339 - 4 nights
Up to 15 miles and up to 3,100ft of ascent.
The guided walks will be chosen from the following itinerary:
Remote moorland walking over two summits. This circuit ascends Mallerstang Edge and Wild Boar Fell, where it is said the last boar in England was killed. There are views over the Settle to Carlisle Railway and the North Pennines. We are on the watershed from which the River Ure flows into Wensleydale and the River Eden heads north, to the Solway Firth.
Distance 15 miles with 3,100 feet of ascent.
The dramatic rolling Howgill Fells lie between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks. This is a circular walk from Thorns Hall, traversing the Howgills from North-East to South-West. We cross several summits, including the Calf, the highest point in the range.
Distance 15 miles with 3,000 feet of ascent.
From Hawes into Wensleydale we take the Pennine Way south, joining the Cam High Roman Road. Crossing the limestone pavements so characteristic of this area, we descend in to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, the starting point for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Distance 14 miles with 1,650 feet of ascent.
