Win a European Classic Walking holiday
 HF Holidays have teamed up with Country Walking magazine to offer you the
chance to win a Classic Walking holiday in Europe or one of ten outdoor runner-up
prizes of the fantastic book, Mountain by Griff Rhys Jones, which accompanied the
major series shown on BBC1.
Our top prize is a fantastic 7-night guided walking
holiday for two, exploring the beautiful Portuguese
island of Madeira. The prize includes direct flights from
London, half board en-suite twin room accommodation
and a complete walking programme. A choice of holiday
dates 15 March 2008 or 12 April 2008 is available.
  Madeira is rightly known as a walker's paradise with its constantly changing
scenery of lush forests, soaring mountains and sparkling streams. The lucky
winner and partner will enjoy guided walks with a group of fellow walkers along the island’s stunning levada
paths that snake around rich terraced hillsides of sugar cane, cherry trees and banana plantations. Some
walks also follow cliff-top paths along Madeira's dramatic northern coastline high above the Atlantic Ocean.
Accommodation is provided in a superbly located hotel, Pousada Dos Vinháticos. Set in the hills above the
small village of Serra de Agua, a world away from the bustle of coastal towns.
