Fairtrade Fortnight
HF Holidays is proud to be a supporter of Fairtrade – helping to secure a better deal for disadvantaged producers.
Fairtrade fortnight runs from 22 February until 7 March 2010. They have launched “The BIG swap” where they are encouraging the nation to swap their usual stuff for Fairtrade stuff. From bananas to cotton socks every little swap will help the producers in the developing world to get a fairer deal.
We already supply our 17 Country Houses with Fairtrade coffee, tea and hot chocolate but all the other swaps we make we will register with Fairtrade on their website.
