Our Country House, Dolserau Hall near Dolgellau, will soon be hosting the perfect wedding for running enthusiasts.

A couple in love from Swansea chose our Victorian Dolserau Hall for their intimate ceremony because of its beautiful setting, the AA rosette standard restaurant and, most importantly, its proximity to the starting point of the Snowdonia Marathon.

The ceremony and reception theme will be ‘running’ with trainer-shaped confetti, themed decorations and a wedding cake topped with a running couple.

Stuart running The newlywed couple will then run the 26.2 mile Snowdonia Marathon on 27 October in aid of the National Trust and its Snowdonia Appeal. This will fund conservation work on National Trust's properties, including our Country House, Craflwyn Hall at Beddgelert, which is passed by the latter part of the marathon route.
