If you’re visiting Venice next May, maybe on one of our great cycling holidays in the region, there’s an opportunity to see a fantastic new exhibition: The Dalì Universe.
The new exhibition runs for just five days, from May 27– 31, and will feature a wide range of Salvador Dalí’s works. Visitors will be treated to over 100 works on display, ranging from famous pieces to lesser known works, including bronze sculptures, rare graphic portfolios, paintings, gold objets d'art and glass pate de verre sculptures.
Famous sculptures include Homage to Newton, Woman Aflame, Space Elephant and Toreador Hallucinogen, each of which provide a fascinating insight into aspects of Dalí's surrealism.
The exhibition at the Diocesan Museum of Religious Art should make for a great day out for anyone interested in surrealism and modern art. Visiting hours are between 10am and 7pm.
