Deck Chairs Exhibition at Elizabeth Castle in Jersey
If you’re lucky enough to be visiting Jersey this autumn, maybe on one of our excellent Cycling holidays, then there’s a great opportunity to experience a little quirky art at an exhibition of deck chairs in Elizabeth Castle.
The deck chairs on display were part of a competition run by Jersey Heritage Museum to design one of the seaside favourites. It was a creative community arts project to help promote the best of the area, which it easily manages as chairs have been inspired by the coast, countryside and activities you can get up to on Jersey.
The completed chairs have been on display in the Jersey Heritage Museum since the summer and the exhibition is set to run all the way through to 4 November 4. Visitors are invited to interact with the chairs too, so you’ll not only get to see them but can also try them out for size!
The exhibition should make for a brilliant afternoon out for anyone on our Relax and Cycle holidays in Jersey, as it’s ideally located in St. Helier.
