The challenging 26.2 mile Snowdonia Marathon is due to take place on Saturday 27 October. It is in its 30th year now and is regularly voted the best marathon in the UK.
About 2500 runners from all over the UK will be running in aid of various charities and supporting local groups and organisations. Money raised during the event will be donated to many good causes.
The National Trust is actively supporting the marathon, with National Trust staff and volunteers assisting the runners and race organisers throughout the day to help ensure that the event runs smoothly.
Ten runners will be fundraising for the National Trust's Snowdonia Appeal that helps fund the conservational work on NT Properties which includes our Country House, Craflwyn Hall, in Beddgelert, which runners will run past in the latter part of the marathon course.
Come by and check out our "marathon special" on the day at our Dandelion Cafe at Craflwyn Hall.
Craflwyn Hall is an ideal base for walking and activity holidays at the heart of Snowdonia.
