Be the first to visit HF Holidays’ newest UK Country House

The Longmynd Hotel We are delighted to announce a further expansion to our UK Country House locations with the addition of Church Stretton in Shropshire.

Church Stretton, and the area of the Shropshire Hills, is well known and loved by walkers, offering a variety of levels of walking. There is also plenty of local interest, making the area perfect for our leisure activity touring holidays.

Shropshire River From 1 February 2012 HF Holidays is operating the Longmynd Hotel in Church Stretton on a 5 year lease-purchase arrangement.

Head of Hotel Operations, Fraser Lord, said: “The Longmynd is a fantastic Country House with all the facilities for great sociable holidays. It is already popular with walkers and those who enjoy the outdoors, and is easily accessible from most of England and Wales. We’re very much looking forward to welcoming members and guests at this new location.”

Longmynd Room The Country House boasts extensive public rooms, ideal for our leisure activity holidays, an outdoor swimming pool and 50 bedrooms. It has excellent road and rail connections. In 2012 we are offering a range of holidays including outstanding walks right from the doorstep on our Guided Walking holidays, Guided Walking for Solos and Guided Walking for Families. The Leisure Activities programme offers Discovery Tours, Gardens Tours, Industrial Revolution breaks and Bridge & Walking.
