When you think of walks amidst autumn’s vibrant red and golden hues, your first thought probably isn’t Japan?
Surprisingly, this stunning shot on the right (courtesy of JNTO) was taken on our travels to the far east. This is the brilliant blaze of colour of Japan’s Koyo (autumn leaves). The Kouyou is the Japanese name for the autumn hues that greet you from September to November, with an explosion of colour framing your photos of Japan’s historic temples and beautiful landscapes.
