MPs visit HF Holidays’ Country Houses

Local MPs have recently visited several of our Country Houses to meet with House Managers and their teams. At the top of the agenda was local tourism and employment provided in their constituency.

Roger Williams and Sylwia Krygier St Ives MP, Andrew George, met House Managers Jamie and Jennifer Riches at the Chy Morvah in St Ives, Richard Drax MP met with HF Holidays’ Chief Executive Brian Smith and Lulworth Mill House Manager Darren Dunn and Brecon and Radnorshire MP, Roger Williams, met with Sylwia Krygier, Nythfa's House Manager.

Richard Drax and Darren Dunn Richard Drax MP was very interested in the number of locals now employed by HF Holidays in the Cove, the high level of local produce being bought and the supportive involvement of the company in the local community. He commented, “It is always good to see a quality organisation ready to invest in South Dorset and take advantage of the beauty of the coast and countryside as well as local skills, produce and services.“

Andrew George at The Chy Morvah At St Ives, Andrew George MP learnt of the events held at the Chy Morvah, which enabled local members, guests and the St Ives’ community to enjoy their grounds, and fundraisers for local charities – most recently raising over £800 for Phoenix Stroke Appeal and Alzheimer’s Society at their Diamond Jubilee Garden Party.
