Cotswolds MP discusses local economy and tourism at Harrington House

Cotswold MP visit Cotswolds MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown met with Laura Sims, HF Holidays’ Head of Marketing and Development and Daniel Lowe, House Manager at Harrington House on Friday 3 August, to discuss local employment, economy and investments in the property.

Since purchasing the Georgian property in 1947, we have been bringing holiday makers on walking and leisure activity holidays for 64 years.

Mr Clifton-Brown was very interested in our range of holidays offered and the number of visitors brought to the area.

Following the visit, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown commented “This visit followed other local visits including the Youth Hostel Association in Stow, and Gloucestershire Wildlife Farm on the edge of Bourton-on-the-Water. The common theme for all these visits was how to encourage more people to visit our beautiful countryside and heritage. I was delighted to learn more about HF Holidays’ operations in the Cotswolds and, in addition to their excellent walking holidays, I’m encouraging them to introduce cycling holidays here too.”
