Our members are getting younger

We are excited to announce that from 30 August 2012, membership of HF Holidays will be available for children under the age of 16, and that we will be the first co-operative society to launch this membership category, following a change in the legislation earlier this year.

We anticipate this will be popular with parents and grandparents who support our Society’s aim to encourage young people to enjoy the countryside, taking holidays with us into adulthood.

Children's Membership Welcome Pack Young members will be welcomed into the Society with a special welcome pack. The pack comes in a handy blue wallet and includes an HF Holidays’ luggage tag, a Gelert compass with instructions and an HF Holidays’ passport which can be used to log visits to our UK Country Houses and our overseas destinations.

Membership in this category is available for a minimum investment of 100 £1 shares, which will attract the same annual rate of interest as adult shareholdings and which can be increased by any amount at any time, up to a maximum of £20,000.

Children's Memebership Investment Manager Linda Hickey said, “Parents and grandparents have been eagerly waiting to enrol their children and grandchildren since the change in legislation earlier this year - they need wait no longer”.
