The World Press Photo Exhibition in Vienna

Cyclist beside a traditional church building in the Danube valley Those lucky enough to be enjoying our brilliant Leisurely Danube Self-Guided Cycling holiday this September or October have a chance to take a look into the world of professional photography with the World Press Photo Exhibition in Vienna.

The tour, as with many of our Cycling holidays, features a free day in the city of Vienna and what better way to spend part of that day than seeing some of the world’s most incredible press photography? The exhibition takes place at the WestLicht Gallery and runs from 7 September through to 21 October. The photos on display are part of the ‘World Press Photo’ photo-journalism prize, with the works being selected from the 100,000 photos submitted by professionals.

This is an annual event, so if you miss out this year you’ll still have a chance to visit the exhibition whilst in the area on one of our Cycling holidays next year.
