Associations & Partnerships

Established in 1913, we know the best ingredients for holidays in the great outdoors and have grown and strengthened. More recently we have become partners with a number of organisations which we believe demonstrate our vision, and who seek to actively promote our business.

In August 2011 HF Holidays was pleased to announce that Ramblers are their walking charity of the year. Ramblers, Britain's walking charity, are working to safeguard the footpaths, the countryside and other places we go walking, and to encourage more people to take up walking. With 119,000 members in England, Scotland and Wales, they have been working for walkers for 76 years. As part of our partnership, HF Holidays will make a donation to Ramblers for every booking made by their members.

National Trust logo Our relationship with the National Trust can be traced back to the earliest days of both organisations. If you stay at Holnicote House on Exmoor, Monk Coniston in the Lake District, or Craflwyn Hall in Northern Snowdonia, you’ll be staying in historic National Trust properties. National Trust have over 3.6 million members and 55,000 volunteers, who enjoy their beautiful houses and gardens regularly. They protect and open to the public over 350 historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments.

In 2012, HF Holidays and benenden health, both long established and award winning mutual organisations, embarked on a new affinity partnership. Both organisations will be working together to provide new, exclusive healthcare and leisure offers for the mutual welfare and gain of their members, by creating a programme of joint promotional initiatives.

In 2010, HF Holidays was delighted to announce the new partnership with Coeliac UK. For several years HF Holidays has been able to provide a varied menu to many different guests requiring a specific diet. Any customer should feel safe in the knowledge that our chefs are fully trained and understand customers’ needs when it comes to food. At the point of booking your holiday our Reservations team will ask if you have any dietary requirements. This information is then passed directly to our Country House Managers, who will meet with you on your arrival to ensure everything is in place.

In 2009 the Association of Teachers and Lecturers chose HF Holidays as their preferred leisure activity holiday provider. The ATL is the education union and supports 160,000 members across the UK with advice and representation on a range of professional and employment issues, and training courses. Like the National Trust partnership we have chosen specific holidays that we feel ATL members will enjoy.

HF Holidays became a member of Co-operatives^UK in 2009. We are now working closely with Co-operatives^UK, and planning to strengthen our links with the Co-operative movement, to develop and build on its unique position in the market. HF Holidays is listed as 59^th in the Top 100 Co-operatives in the UK, based on turnover for year ending 2007.

OIA logo In 2008 HF Holidays became a member of the Outdoor Industries Association [OIA]. The OIA is the trade body for manufacturers, retailers and other organisations that provide products and services for the outdoor leisure pursuits market in the UK.

UKinbound logo HF Holidays became a member of UKinbound in July 2011, a trade association which represents the interests of the UK's inbound tourism sector.

They have over 250 members, and are one of the leading trade associations in the UK tourism industry. UKinbound is the only trade association to represent and unite the UK's inbound tourism sector - the third largest export industry in terms of earnings for the UK. It is estimated that 1 in 12 full time jobs within the UK rely on tourism.

UKinbound represents a diverse membership including inbound tour operators, wholesalers, UK ground handlers, accommodation providers, destination marketing, attractions, tourism service providers and other suppliers who provide services for inbound tourists to the UK, both leisure and business travellers. All their members are based in the UK and their business is wholly, or to a significant extent, dependent on inbound tourism.

ATOL protected - flight inclusive holiday bonding

The air holiday packages on this website (tours including flights) are ATOL protected, as we hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 710. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad, and will arrange to refund any money you have paid us for advance booking.

HF Holidays is a member of the International Air Transport Association - the trade association of the world's international airline industry. It now groups together nearly 230 airlines. These airlines fly over 93% of all international scheduled air traffic. On behalf of their airline members, IATA approves and controls more than 90,000 accredited passenger agents worldwide.
