and Uniform Requirements
You must ensure that your personal hygiene is of the highest standard at all times, especially when dealing with the preparation and service of food/beverages and the cleaning and preparation of all areas used by both staff and guests.
Discretion is required with the wearing of jewellery, make-up, perfume or aftershave and body piercing.
1. Assistant Management/Head General Assistant/Housekeeper
To always be well presented in order to deal with guests at any time.
2. General Assistant/Bar
Dining Room/Bar Duties:
- Black knee length skirt/trousers (trousers must not be the low waisted style, ski pants or leggings).
- Two or three white blouses/shirts that button to the neck as you may be required to wear a waistcoat and bow tie for some dining room services.
- Tights or stockings to be worn with skirt, pop socks/dark socks with trousers.
- Flat comfortable black shoes* that cover your feet for dining room/bar work - slip resistant.
Housekeeping Duties
- Clothes and shoes* that are both comfortable and suitable for making beds and cleaning rooms. Polo shirts may be provided for the duration of your employment with us.
3. Head, Deputy and Assistant Chef
It is expected that personal professional equipment will be provided by yourself for these roles. Two chefs jackets will be made available to you for the duration of your employment with us.
4. Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter
- Chefs whites or white tee shirts and suitable trousers - bib aprons are provided for the duration of you employment with us
- Suitable shoes*. Slip resistant.
5. *Shoes/Footwear
It is, and remains, your responsibility to ensure that your feet are protected by the correct footwear. Shoes must properly cover the feet, have a low heel, are enclosed back and front and have a non slip sole. Black shoes have to be worn for Dining Room Service. |
