You are confident enough to take responsibility
for the bar in a Country House accommodation.
You are capable of serving drinks
in the bar and dining room while complying with
HF Holidays policies on quality, hygiene and Licensing
Regulations.
You understand the requirements of working behind
a bar and the hours that are worked.
You will support the team effort by taking responsibility
for the presentation and cleanliness of the public
areas.
About the position
Open and close the bar at the specified opening and closing times.
Requisition stock as required and keep the bar stocked, to meet business needs.
Clean the bar and all equipment, and maintain the bar in a clean and hygienic condition at all times.
Serve drinks to the guests.
If required by Management, take orders for and serve drinks in the dining room.
To be responsible for the receipt of payment for drinks and ensuring accurate charging of drinks to guests rooms.
To help out in any other areas as requested by Management, during quiet periods in the bar.
Development opportunities
Opportunities exist to transfer to
other Houses if you wish, on recommendation of the
House Manager.
Once you have been in post for an appropriate
length of time, there will be opportunities to develop
to Head General Assistant, on the recommendation
of the House Manager.
Accommodation
Each week there is an offset against wages of £31.22 for accommodation and a charge of £12.28 for food (if required), this would include all meals for 7 days.
