Theatre
Combine a sense of occasion on holiday with in-depth analysis of some high
quality productions at some of Britain's best provincial theatres. The
central character in our "Much Ado About Shakespeare" break needs
no introduction here, but you'll learn plenty about him if you join us at our
gorgeous Cotswolds base for lectures, talks and visits to the RSC in Stratford.
The famous recreation of the Globe theatre in London also has connections
with the Bard, whilst further afield the theatre at Keswick in the English Lake
District offers top notch entertainment in glorious settings.
We organise your tickets and facilitate discussions, backstage tours and offer
a full board package from superb Country House accommodation.
The choice of productions we see is made as soon as information becomes available
and is listed here at the earliest opportunity.
Many find the get away from it all experience, in lovely surroundings with
good healthy food, one of fun, reward and achievement in equal measure.
Our prices hide nothing and represent remarkable value for money - you don't
need to spend anything other than when you might be out and about independently.

Ado About Shakespeare |
 |
Visit three RSC plays in Stratford (one may be at Bath or Oxford if three Stratford plays are unavailable) and gain insight into Shakespeare's life and
his home. After 45 minutes travelling from our Cotswolds base, we visit the
Stratford area for Shakespeare sites. Enjoy in-house
talks and some free time at both Bourton and Stratford to view the towns at your own pace. Post
mortem discussions will enhance your appreciation of the performances. If we take
in any evening performances we will eat as a group in Stratford before the play,
to ensure a relaxed pace. Please ask for more details of the plays, which will be known near the departure date for 2008.

This corner of England boasts theatre of world renown, the wonderful recreation
of Shakespeare's Globe a highlight for many. On one day we travel the 2 hours
from our Sussex base to experience one of their productions, and visit the Globe
exhibition. Our other two plays will be chosen from the Yvonne Arnaud theatre
in Guildford, Brighton's splendid Theatre Royal where many West End productions
start out, or the Chichester Festival or Minerva theatres.
