Cambrian Way North
Following a high-level route through the mountains of Snowdonia, the Cambrian Way is the most challenging of our guided trails. Visiting many of the region’s highest summits, with breathtaking scenery throughout, this is a holiday for the true mountain connoisseur. |

| Itinerary - South trail |
 |

79 miles. 10-16 miles and up to 4,100ft of ascent in a day. |
Day 1: arrival day.
Day
2: walk from Abergavenny over the shapely summit of Sugar Loaf to Capel-y-ffin.
Day
3: a splendid panoramic ridge walk takes us the length of the Black Mountains to Crickhowell.
Day
4: around the Llangattock escarpment and the eastern fringes of the Brecon Beacons to Torpantau.
Day
5: a great walk over the main Beacons summits of Craig-y-Fan-Ddu, Cribyn, Pen-y-Fan and Corn Du.
Day
6: cross the windswept Black Mountain to Llanddeusant.
Day
7: through rolling countryside and open moorland to Llandovery.
Day
8: departure day.

2: a great walk along the crest of the Rhinogs from Barmouth to Cwm Nantcol.

3: walk through southern Snowdonia to Lake Trawsfyndd.

4: cross the summits of Moelwyn Mawr and Cnicht to Lyn Dinas.

5: ascend the Watkin Path to the top of Snowdon and then down the Pyg track to Pen y Pass.
Day
6: traverse the jagged summits of Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach, with its famous cantilever stone, to Idwal Cottage in the Ogwen Valley.
Day
7: a magnificent final day of high level walking across the Carneddau mountains to Rowen near Conwy.
