72 miles. 11-13 miles and up to 1,550ft of ascent in a day. |
Day 1: arrival day.
Day
2: starting from Chipping Campden, follow the trail south to picturesque Broadway village and Stanway.
Day
3: visit Hailes Abbey and the market town of Winchcombe on the way to Cleeve Common.
Day
4: continue along the escarpment of Cleeve Hill to the Devil’s Chimney.
Day
5: walk through ancient woodland to the picture-postcard village of Painswick.
Day
6: enjoy far-reaching views across the Severn Estuary as we follow the edge of the Cotswolds to Coaley Peak.
Day
7: cross rolling Gloucestershire countryside to complete the trail at Wotton-under-Edge.

8: departure day.
