| Itinerary |
 |
|
75 miles. 12-16 miles and up to 1,650ft of ascent in a day. |
Day 1: arrival day.
Day 2: walk beside the River Ure from the market town of Leyburn to the Aysgarth Falls waterfalls.
Day 3: continue along Wensleydale to Askrigg and Hawes.
Day 4: follow the Settle to Carlisle railway below Wild Boar Fell and Mallerstang Edge to Kirkby Stephen.
Day 5: ascend to the splendid viewpoint of Nine Standards Rigg and continue along the Coast to Coast path to Keld.
Day 6: a delightful walk along peaceful Swaledale to the village of Reeth.
Day 7: a final day following the Swale to the historic market town of Richmond.
