From imposing chalk cliffs to peaceful river estuaries, the Isle of Wight coast has a huge variety of coastal landscapes and moods. Heading in a clockwise direction we’ll absorb the ever-changing sea views as we explore this much-loved island. |

Detailed information
| Itinerary |
 |
|
12 to 15 miles and up to 1,175ft of ascent in a day. |
Day 1: arrival day.
Day 2: walk atop the chalk cliffs of Tennyson Down to the Needles and the coloured sands of Alum Bay, then on to Yarmouth and Cranmore.
Day 3: around the marshy creeks of the Newtown River and then beside the Solent to the yachting town of Cowes.
Day 4: omitting the road section around the Osborne Estate, walk from Wootton Bridge to Sandown via Bembridge Harbour and Culver Cliff.
Day 5:. free day to explore the island or walk independently.
Day 6: through the lush wooded undercliff to Ventnor and around St Catherine’s Point to Blackgang Chine.
Day 7: along the windswept cliffs of the south west coast back to Freshwater Bay.
Day 8: departure day.
