Experience the many varied limestone landscapes of the Derbyshire Dales on this walk through patchwork fields and past traditional villages from Castleton to Rocester. Dry valleys, patchwork fields and traditional villages can all be sampled as we head through the gentle scenery of the Peak District National Park. |

| Itinerary |

52 miles. 9 -13 miles and up to 1,650ft of ascent in a day. |
Day 1: arrival day.
Day 2: starting from Castleton, head south past Peveril Castle and limestone valleys to Taddington.
Day 3: visit the attractive villages of Monyash and Youlgreave as we pass through rolling Derbyshire countryside.
Day 4: continue past Robin Hood’s Stride and the village of Grangemill.
Day 5: free day to explore or walk independently.
Day 6: cross the Derbyshire plateau to the well-dressing village of Tissington.
Day 7: walk along the Dove Valley to complete the trail at Rocester.
Day 8: departure day.
