60 miles. 8-13 miles per day with a maximum daily ascent of 1,800ft. Some sections of the trail can be rocky and rugged. |
Day 1: arrival day.
Day
2: St Dogmael’s to Molygrove across the highest point on the entire trail for wonderful vistas of our route ahead.
Day
3: a tough but exhilarating walk along a remote section of the path, a true wilderness experience.
Day
4: visit the famous beauty spot of Cwm-yr-Eglwys and follow the trail around glorious Dinas Head to Fishguard.
Day
5: this wild stretch of coastline leads to Strumble Head.
Day
6: visit Aber Mwar, the most important Iron-Age settlement in Pembrokeshire, before ending the day in Trefin.
Day
7: superb views as we head to delightful Whitesands Bay and magical St Davids.
Day
8: departure day.
