HF Holidays was established in 1913 as a Friendly Society, operated by its members. We are now the UK’s largest specialist worldwide walking and activity holidays company, with over 95 years of experience.

We deliver high quality holidays to well over 100 destinations around the world, suitable for anyone who enjoys active and sociable experiences. We own 17 Country Houses around Great Britain, which are located in prime walking areas and often in National Parks with superb walks on the doorstep. All our UK based holidays are run on full-board basis. Also on offer are holidays in Europe and around the world.

We offer don’t just offer walking holidays in the UK, Europe and worldwide, but also leisure activity holidays such as painting, dancing, wildlife or bridge, and a range of leisurely cycling holidays to many European countries. You can stay close to home and indulge in your favourite pastime, go exploring the varied European landscapes or escape as far as New Zealand or Vietnam on an adventure of a lifetime.

How the scheme works
We aim to encourage and promote the healthy enjoyment of leisure, physical recreation and the open air, through the formation of local community groups and clubs. 80+ clubs and groups across Great Britain have joined our membership programme and are benefiting from being associated to HF Holidays.

Affiliated membership allows your group/club to signify your connection with HF Holidays, as well as additional discount offers, and lifetime membership to our society.
