What does a sous chef do?

As a sous chef, you’ll love working in an exciting role with shifting dynamics; reacting to unpredictable challenges and actively responding to the changing needs of our guests. You’ll have a lot of responsibility in the kitchen which your previous experience has paved the way for. 

Acting second in command, your role is integral to the smooth running of service. Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll have the opportunity to input creative ideas as well as lead a fantastic team of chefs. 

As guests order in advance and eat together, you’ll benefit from being able to manage a steady workflow without peak hour shifts and busy weekends; no walk-ins or cook-to-orders. Plus, as you progress through your career you’ll be able to move to other HF Holidays locations across the UK, offering endless opportunities.
