Holiday overview

Your journey visits the famous historical towns, picturesque cities and beautiful landscapes of Holland's beautiful 'Green Heart'.

Once you have arrived in Amsterdam and boarded your barge you will sail to Breukelen and cycle along the river Vecht to Utrecht, one of the oldest cities in Holland. Daily cycling will take in plenty of noteworthy Dutch sights, from the Delfland, UNESCO world heritage site of Kinderdjik (known for its impressive 19 windmills) and Witches’ Weigh house in Oudewater.

This cycling route will also head to the North Sea coast to cycle alongside dunes, before heading inland again to enjoy the outstanding Zaanse Schans museum, complete with traditional houses and windmills. Your cycling journey ends where it began in the Dutch capital city of Amsterdam.

Discover beautiful places on two wheels with HF Holidays and Saddle Skedaddle.

Your accommodation for the week is on a specially designed Dutch barge with a friendly mix of different nationalities. During the day, a local leader will be leading the way and riding with the group.
