Itinerary

Arrival day:

You can check in to your room from 2.30pm onwards. Please join us for afternoon tea at 4pm. All guests are invited – we’ll introduce your leader and welcome you to your holiday.

Your first Bridge session starts at 5pm and continues again after dinner.

Please note: The evening competition is structured by Duplicate Bridge movements which organise which competitors play which opponents and when and on which boards.  In order to ensure fair competition and the correct “”balance”, we are obliged to ask that guests either take part in the whole evening competition (ie from 5pm through to 10.30pm) or  “sit out” the entire competition on any particular evening.  Please inform your Bridge leader as soon as possible if you intend not to attend the evening bridge competition.

Other days:

9.30am-12.30pm: The morning bridge game will be Duplicate bridge, subject to sufficient numbers.  Should the weather tempt guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings instead, then morning sessions may be Chicago bridge. We enjoy a coffee break mid-morning.

12.30pm:  Enjoy a light lunch e.g. soup & sandwiches

Your afternoons are free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities at Dolserau Hall, explore the lovely local area or find a bridge four.

5pm-10.30pm:   Duplicate Bridge starts every evening, with a break for dinner

Departure day: Depart after a leisurely breakfast

What to bring

All your Bridge stationery and equipment will be supplied. You may, however, like to bring a notebook and pen to make your own notes.  EBU Members - don’t forget to bring your EBU membership number to earn Master Points on this holiday.
