Duration: 7 nights

Relax and unwind in peaceful Paphos on this Pilates holiday. The Pilates method was developed by Joseph Pilates nearly 100 years ago. In Pilates we practice slow, controlled and flowing movements, all performed with awareness. Benefits include improved flexibility, greater core strength and muscle tone. It also helps to improve posture, body alignment and mobility and creates a feeling of wellbeing. Our base for the week is the town of Paphos, which home to a host of historic sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage Nea Pafos archaeological site and the Tomb of the Kings. Paphos provides a good selection of shops and facitities to make your stay more comfortable, not to mention sweeping beaches and wonderful views out over the sparkling Mediterranean.

Rosalind Hoyes

Rosalind trained with Body Control Pilates in London and ran a busy teaching practice for many years, relishing the opportunity to bring the benefits of Pilates to a huge variety of people from all walks of life, including professional athletes. After running a successful studio in Northamptonshire she de-camped to the Peak District to fulfil her love of walking and has since focused on teaching private clients and running Pilates retreats and holidays. Her teaching experience has led to an increased fascination with the link between mind and body and, after studying Mindfulness at Bangor University, Rosalind has incorporated this into her Pilates classes with great effect.

Friendly and competent teacher, put all at ease, a lovely balance of exercises.
