Following a rigorous accreditation process, we are delighted that HF Holidays is now a certified B Corporation (or B Corp). This means we’re a business that has reached the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. Simply put, we’re doing good for the planet and its people and will always strive to ensure our holidays have a positive impact on the places we travel to.
Achieving a score of 84.9, we join a small number of UK travel and hospitality companies (just 4%) that have certified as B Corps. We are excited to be part of a growing community of over 8,000 businesses globally (over 2,000 of which are in the UK) that are reinventing business and helping build a better world.
How does this benefit our members and guests?
We’re committed to making all aspects of our business a force for good; from ensuring our holidays have minimal carbon footprints to using renewable energy at our UK country houses. We continually strive to always do things better and have lots of exciting things in the pipeline that we can’t wait to share with you.
What’s next in our drive for change?
We realise the importance of making more mindful choices when travelling and want you to know that we are committed to sustainability. We see it as our responsibility to minimise our carbon emissions further and have a strategy to reduce the carbon intensity of our products by 5% each year. Our ambition is to be net-zero by 2040, earlier if we can.
