#3 - Eat
Let the flavours of local ingredients and regional specialities enhance your stay at the Longmynd. All meals are included from dinner on arrival to breakfast on departure day.
One of the (many) culinary highlights is the evening meal. Enjoy a mouth-watering three course meal − there's always a vegetarian option and, as all of our Country Houses are accredited by Coeliac UK, we are more than happy to cater for a gluten-free diet.
#2 - Sing
Warm up those vocal chords and get in the mood for Christmas with this celebration of festive music. We'll sing traditional carols plus some lighter, modern fare.
Led by the superb Judith you're in safe hands − she has been leading Singing, Music Making and Opera & Festival holidays for us since 1998. Prior to this she had a long career in primary and further education where she specialised in music and drama. She conducts two orchestras, an operatic society, a clarinet choir and a concert band − all of which she enjoys immensely. When not conducting, Judith plays clarinet in orchestras, bands and chamber groups and she also enjoys going to concerts, plays and operas. She loves passing on her enthusiasm to others and encouraging all guests to have a worthwhile musical experience.
As ever, Judith had selected a wide choice of music that suits all abilities, instruments and musical styles.
#1 - Be merry
Sociability is at the heart of our holidays, and never is it more true than around Christmastime. Enjoy the company of your fellow guests on this musical extravaganza as you get into the festive swing of things. Raise your voice with others in the morning and explore the historic market town of Church Stretton in your afternoons.
Fill your heart with glee and join us on 30 Nov (4nts) for only £199. Eat, sing and be merry!
