Walk with dinosaurs in Bourton-on-the-Water
A pre-historic themed week will let dinosaur lovers travel back to the time that they roamed the Cotswolds.
Visitors will be able to let their imagination fly away with them during October Half Term Holidays, between Saturday October 22 and Sunday October 30 with a ‘Myths and Legends’ week at Birdland Park and Gardens.
A dinosaur trail will be amongst the highlights, explorers will be armed with dinosaur tracker kits, and will venture in to a Jurassic-themed landscape which is home to more than 30 different dinosaurs.

A new mountain in England
Calf Top, near the Yorkshire Dales and Sedbergh has now been classified as a Mountain! Due to a more accurate way of measuring the height, Calf Top has just scraped into 'Mountain status' with a total height of 2000.02ft (609.606m) from sea-level. Previously it was measured just 3 quarters of an inch too short.

Colombian Adventure
‘Magical Realism’ –this is the official slogan of Procolombia, the national tourist board of Colombia. What was magic and real about Colombia? I was on a two week tour to find out what was behind this.
The tourist board introduced this campaign in 2013 to entice tourists to this emerging destination, previously known for its ongoing drug cartels, and years of violence and instability. Finally a peace deal was signed in Cartagena in September 2016.

Europe Referendum - a message from CEO Jim Forward
While today the UK decided to leave the EU, it is business as usual at HF Holidays. We continue to take our guests on great holidays throughout Europe, the UK and the Rest of World.
One of our standard business practices is to buy currency in advance in order to pay hotels and other agents, so as to protect against currency fluctuations. Hence we can confirm that HF Holidays will not increase the price of any 2016 or 2017 foreign holiday already booked, or newly booked, by 31st August 2016.
