We book a whole HF Holidays' Country House for a weekend at intervals which match significant birthdays or other key events. Walk during the day, then dance at night to celebrate our long association as a group (many for 43 years to date, some longer, some shorter). Between the anniversaries, different combinations of individual members walk near their homes following various planned walk instructions.

2013 was our 50th Anniversary. We are a small walking club (currently 170+ members) alternating Saturday then Sunday walks, with the occasional weekend/evening walk. We also hold Wednesday walks for people who cannot manage the 5 - 10 miles we normally do and these are held once a month. Our walks are friendly, circular in format and at a relaxed pace.

We are a lively, local, independent walking club, founded in 1953, based in the Arrow Valley, Worcestershire, with a membership of 85, mainly from The Redditch, Bromsgrove and South Birmingham areas. We do walks on Sundays, a minimum of 3 per month, Tuesdays weekly & Thursday Tea Shop/Morning Coffee walks once a month. We run social meetings with speakers or other activities.At least 2 coach trips per year. At least once a year we organise a walking holiday of 3 days  in a scenic location, allied with HF Holidays.

The Club was formed in the mid seventies and prides itself on being a welcoming and friendly group. We have a range of regular walks organised, from local walks around the West Midlands to weekend walks along long distance paths. Our aim is to provide walks, both short (around 5 miles) to longer (8 to 9 miles) on a two week cycle from mid January to early December. This enables all members to participate irrespective of ability or age.
