Our Board of Directors set the strategic direction of HF Holidays, and are made up of members who have a passion for walking and activity holidays in both the UK and abroad.
Collectively our Board aim to reflect the interests and background of the wider membership. Individually, Directors offer professional or commercial expertise.

Meet our Board
At our 2016 AGM, HF Holidays welcomed five new Board members. Get to know a little about them.
Robert has been an HF Holidays’ guest for several years and is now a volunteer walking leader. He is a chartered accountant who has worked as a director in several large companies and is now Deputy Chairman of an NHS Foundation Trust.
|Brian Tilley |
Brian has served on the Board on six previous occasions. He has been an HF Holidays’ guest since a small child, and recently retired as a volunteer walking leader after 51 consecutive years. Professionally he worked in higher education.
|Robert Locke |
Robert is a very regular HF Holidays’ guest. His experience is as a Chartered Accountant, a Director for over 20 years of a large specialist tour operator and in the family property company, which he now manages.
|Nick Frankgate |
Nick has worked extensively int he hospitality industry as a manager in a variety of hotels, restaurants and pubs. He’ll be best known to Members as House Manager of Holnicote House, Selworthy and Craflywn Hall.
|Alan Dixon |
Alan was a senior Civil Servant who has managed major equipment and infrastructure projects, and worked overseas in the diplomatic service. Since retiring, he has discovered, and fallen in love with, HF Holidays enjoying many trips in the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
