Important information: Our house refurbishment programme
As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, we are thrilled to announce that we are undertaking an exciting 6-month renovation project on both out internal and external areas around Derwent Bank. This will include the construction of a beautiful new orangery, new accommodation for our leaders and house team plus eight new guest bedrooms in the grounds to replace the old chalets.
Full details of our new improved House can be found here.
Every effort has been made to minimise the impact on guests during their stay and we apologise for any inconvenience during our makeover. We sincerely appreciate your understanding while we make these improvements to the house and thank you for your continued support during this time.
At Derwent Bank, we boast views of the lake and fells from our conservatory and terrace, as well as many of our 32 bedrooms and 5 double bedded chalets. Don't miss the delights of our gardens, the lawn slopes down to the lake jetty offering a splendid spot to admire this magnificent setting.
Newly refurbished in 2016, our rooms offer you the perfect setting to relax and revive tired feet. With views of the glorious lakes or the mountains of Cat Bells and Grizedale Pike, the inspiration for adventure is never far away.
