[title] => Choir and Walking
[introduction] =>
[description] => During your choir holiday, you’ll come together in the mornings to practice singing under the guidance of your choirmaster. The session will last around 3 hours, including mid-morning break, and will end at lunchtime.
Our singing sessions have been crafted to suit a range of abilities and both absolute beginners and seasoned singers are welcome. There’s no expectation of you to be able to sight-read sheet music, just turn up and sing – it’s all about taking part and having fun. We’ll be looking at a variety of different music pieces throughout, expect some well-known favourites as well as some new tunes. We’ll experiment with simple harmonies and key techniques, such as breathing and posture.
In the afternoons, we'll take to the great outdoors and enjoy a guided walk from the front door of our country house. Led by one of our experienced HF Holidays Leaders, we’ll explore the very best of the surrounding countryside. For more details about the walks, please view the Walks Information below.
In the early evening, you'll regroup for a fun refresher session before dinner.
On the final night, they'll be an option to take part in an informal performance, or you can choose to simply sit back and enjoy watching your fellow guests sing live. It’s a wonderful opportunity to show off and celebrate together in joyful song.
