Itinerary

Itinerary

Distance: 3.1 miles (5 km) (plus time on the city walls)

Ascent: Minimal (with steps on the walls)

Check in to MV Jadranska Kraljica – also known as the “Adriatic Queen” - at Gruž harbour. After a welcome lunch and introductions to your fellow HF guests, set out with your guide on a walk from the port to Dubrovnik’s Old Town. This afternoon’s highlight is a full circuit on top of the medieval city walls, with plenty of time for photos and stories as the Old Town’s rooftops and the Adriatic open up below. Enjoy free time afterwards for a gelato or a wander through the marble lanes, then return by public bus from Pile Gate for a welcome dinner on board.

Distance: 3.7 - 4.3 miles (6 - 7 km)

Ascent: 280 - 300 m

Over breakfast we sail to Slano, a peaceful fishing village on the mainland. From here we head to Ston, famed for its oysters and remarkable fortifications. Walk the spectacular Walls of Ston (often called Europe’s “Great Wall”), tackling plenty of steep stone steps as the route climbs and dips along the ridge line. After the walk, there’s time to explore Ston and Mali Ston at your own pace—perhaps with the chance to sample local oysters—before returning to the ship for dinner.

Distance: 8.1 - 9.3 miles (13 - 15 km)

Ascent: Mostly flat

Sail this morning to Mljet National Park. Join your guide for an unhurried walk through pine forest, along gravel paths and wooden boardwalks beside the island’s famous saltwater lakes. We also take a boat ride to St Mary Isle to visit its 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Return to the ship for a relaxed evening moored close by.

Distance: 7.5 - 8.7 miles (12 - 14 km)

Ascent: Up to 417 m (Hum)

We continue to Lastovo Nature Park for a full-day island adventure combining coastal views, historic lanes, shaded woodland and a satisfying summit. Starting at Mihovil Bay, we pass through Lastovo town before ascending to Hum (417 m) for wide-ranging views, then descend towards the coast. We finish at Jurjeva Luka, a sheltered natural harbour where the ship will be waiting. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy  our Captain’s Dinner tonight.

Distance: 6.2 - 7.5 miles (10 - 12 km)

Ascent: 350 - 400 m

An early sail brings us to Korčula, often linked with Marco Polo. We land at Vela Luka and set off on a rewarding inland climb to Hum, enjoying wide Adriatic views before a peaceful descent through forested paths. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the town at leisure before dinner on board.

Distance: 6.2 - 7.5 miles (10 - 12 km)

Ascent: 200 m

Today we cruise to Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula for a walk that pairs sea views with vineyard tracks and quiet country lanes. We make our way towards Pijavičino for a wine tasting and light snack, then return to Trstenik where the ship awaits. After dinner, you may like to step ashore to soak up the easygoing village atmosphere.

Distance: 3.7 miles (6 km)

Ascent: 400 m

Sail back towards Dubrovnik, with breakfast en route and superb coastal scenery along the way. This afternoon, tackle the iconic climb to Srđ Hill (412 m) above the city — an uplifting walk combining woodland paths and expansive Adriatic views. After soaking up the panorama over the Old Town and coastline, walk or a take a cable car ride down. Enjoy a farewell drink before dinner on board to celebrate the end of our holiday together.

Enjoy breakfast onboard before saying farewell to your crew and fellow guests.

More Information

Vaccinations & health information EU NEW 2026

Before booking, you should check with your doctor to see whether any health precautions are needed for your trip. Health advice and requirements can change, so we recommend doing this in good time before travel.

As a general rule, travellers should ensure they are up to date with routine UK vaccinations and boosters, including, for example, MMR and diphtheria, tetanus and polio. Some countries may require you to have specific vaccinations such as Malaria, Rabies and Yellow Fever. Please check with your GP if you are unsure.

Please note that the use or possession of some common prescription or over-the-counter medicines is restricted or banned in certain countries. If you will be carrying medication, you should check with the relevant embassy or consulate before travelling. As an extra precaution, we recommend keeping medication in its original packaging, carrying a copy of your prescription, and, where possible, asking your pharmacist to provide the medication name in the language of the country you are visiting.

For further country-specific health advice, visit www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk or www.traveldoctor.co.uk. If you are travelling from outside the UK, please consult your own doctor and check local entry requirements.

Passport & Visa information - SHARED FOR ALL EU NEW 2026

This information is for those travelling with a full ‘British Citizen’ passport; for all other nationalities or passport holders, please check with your local consulate for advice.

Passport Requirements

This information applies to travellers holding a full British Citizen passport. Entry requirements vary by destination and can change at short notice. For most EU and worldwide destinations, passports must be valid for the entire duration of your stay. Some countries also require a minimum period of validity remaining on your passport (often up to 6 months beyond your return date), even if you are not staying that long.
We strongly recommend ensuring your passport has at least six months’ validity remaining at the time of travel to avoid any issues.

If you hold a different type of British passport or a passport issued by another country, you must check the requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government website.

Visa Requirements

Visa rules depend on your nationality, destination, length of stay, and purpose of travel, and they can change frequently. It is your responsibility to check whether you require a visa before travelling.
British passport holders should check the latest entry, passport validity and visa requirements for their destination on the UK government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website:
