Arrive in Innsbruck. Transfer to Alpen Glück Hotel Kirchberger Hof.

We take the Rofan cable car from the mountain station, enjoying views of the Rofan and Karwendel mountains. After soaking up views at the top, we walk towards the Mauritzalm and onto the Rofan circular hiking trail.
We enjoy a guided walking tour in beautiful Innsbruck, the Capital of the Tyrol, before taking the Hungerbergbahn railway up the mountain to reach the impressive Seegrube. Take in the views of Innsbruck below and the Karwendel range beyond. You may choose to take the further short but steep trail along the Hafelekar to soak up the scenery.
Today is a free day, with no walks or activities planned. This is an ideal opportunity to relax around the hotel or explore the local area. You can spend time browsing the festive stalls in Kirchberg, walk one of the local hiking trails close to the hotel, or simply stay put and enjoy the hotel facilities.

We head to Salzburg, the historic city best known as the birthplace of Mozart and the shooting location for The Sound of Music. Here we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of this spectacular city dominated by castles, churches, and palaces. We’ll soak up the atmosphere at the festive market stalls before taking walking up past the fortress walls to Richterhohe for superb city views. There’s also the opportunity to enjoy a glass of mulled wine or a tasty treat before we return to Kirchberg.
Transfer to Innsbruck Airport for your flight home.
