We're delighted to announce that Newfield Hall, our country house at Malhamdale has been awarded a 2023 VisitEngland ROSE Award in Recognition of Service Excellence.
This prestigious accolade is awarded annually to 100 accommodation businesses that go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. Nominations for the award are based on a variety of criteria including the results of an annual VisitEngland quality assessment, observations of the assessor, customer feedback direct to the national tourist board, and online customer reviews. The final judging panel also look for an experience that sets winners apart.
Owen Heath, House Manager at Newfield Hall, said: “Winning the ROSE award is an absolute honour. For HF Holidays to be recognised by an outside organisation is hugely commendable, and it’s a great source of pride for me in knowing that my team are going that extra bit further to make Newfield Hall and HF Holidays the very best it can be. I make sure my team know the importance of customer service, giving each guest that ‘wow’ factor from the minute they walk through the door, and ensuring that they leave with a smile on their face, having had a holiday to remember.”
Congratulations to Owen and the team at Malham for being the first of our country houses to receive the ROSE award. It’s a well-deserved award and one of which we are very proud.
We’re aiming for all 16 of our country houses to receive nominations for the ROSE awards through our annual VisitEngland quality assessments, ensuring our guests can enjoy the same high standards across our portfolio.
